The lady on reception greeted us with a smile and we had a chat about England and her backpacking adventures! We were given a great recommendation for dinner at the local RSL which was good with the bonus of a free drink. The room was spacious and on the ground floor which made luggage transfer from the car very easy. The bed was comfortable and the additional seating area a bonus. Whilst the kitchen area is not fully equipped you can obtain crockery and cutlery from reception. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with a good shower.

We did an overnight stay here during our Sydney-Orange road-trip and we booked two rooms for two families. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Even though the property was built in 2002, and later renovated in 2025, the entire property is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The rooms are furnished with modern furniture and comfortable beds. Highly recommended for families. Heritage Inn is always going to be my first choice next time we visit Bathurst.

Stayed one night September 2024, travelling from Mudgee via Sofala (a great drive), ahead of a visit the next day to Mayfield Gardens, Oberon (a lovely 40 minute drive away). Very friendly and helpful staff. We were assigned Room 67 at the end of the complex, a Deluxe Queen Room, away from the main road. Very spacious, quiet, modern, very comfy bed, great shower. We rated as best overall accommodation and set-up in our 10 day road trip from Sydney to Gloucester - Muswellbrook - Mudgee - Bathurst - Oberon - Goulburn and back to Sydney. We took advantage of the free drinks voucher at nearby RSL Club for dinner (200m away) which proved to be a very popular venue and we enjoyed a very nice dinner. Would certainly stay again.

We arrived late and the manager had put the heating on in the room ahead of our arrival on a very cold night. Great personal touch. Electric blankets also avail. The location of this motel is awesome, we walked to the Winterfest in the CBD, ate a delicious meal at nearby pub, had a warm mulled wine and walked home to comfy beds and warmth. Supermarket, takeaway foods and local Club on the doorstep. Perfect. The parking was adequate and outside our room door, felt secure. Great for families or couples. We will continue to stay here.

Absolutely faultless. We travel often and only stay a night or two, and usually leave other places not feeling rested. Margaret at reception offered us the perfect room for our needs (quiet) and was just a lovely person every time we encountered her. The room was a generous size and had a great kitchenette separate from the sleeping and bathroom area. Highly recommended…which is a rare thing for us.

The friendly greeting by the receptionist on arrival was a great beginning for my stay. She made sure I had everything in my room to make my stay comfortable and independent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room warm for those chilly starts in Bathurst.

It is a semi house which is suitable for our five friends travel group. We like to have dinner there and have some space for playing card at night.

We had a queen room on the ground floor, which was very spacious and well designed. We especially liked the annex next to the bathroom. It had the wardrobe, fridge and microwave, and generous bench space. We could have asked Reception for plates, cutlery etc.The room was not far from the main road, but was very quiet.
